Bob Geldof has hit back at claims, made by his daughter's blood grandmother Patricia Glassop last week, that he has refused to allow Tiger Lily – the daughter of his ex-wife Paula Yates and Michael Hutchence – to see or speak to her.
The Live Aid singer has acted as Tiger Lily's legal guardian since Yates died from a heroin overdose in 2000, and believes the 11-year-old should be kept out of the family brawl.
"She's this gorgeous little tiny sprog who should be with her family and her three sisters," he told top US interviewer Daphne Barak.
"What's this little thing got to do with any of it? She's just this little tiny girl who should have nothing to do with any of this mess. She should be with those she loves and knows and that's the end of it. Luckily she's doing fine – she's a hoot and she's gorgeous."
