DIANA INQUEST
and
the Alberto Repossi interview
answered some of the questions:
  • How cheap is that "engagement ring"?
  • And... how cheap can one get???
and some other questions ...
  • Was the receipt for the 11 thousand dollars (!)                  "engagement ring" written on August 30th,                           (the day it was allegedly purchased)? (Click Here)

  • Did Princess Diana ever see the ring?                                  Did Princess Diana and Dodi ever go into the jeweler's     shop in Monaco (Summer 1997)? (Click Here)

  • Did Alberto Repossi, the jeweler, ever meet                          or speak to Princess Diana during July - August 1997? (Click Here)

Hassan Yassin interview by Daphne Barak

Frances Shand Kydd Interview by Daphne Barak
Daphne Barak conducted interviews with Adnan Kashoggi, Jumana (Dodi's half sister), Alberto Repossi, Hassan Yassin, Lady Raine Spencer, Frances Shand Kydd,  Soheir Kashoggi, Omar Sharif, Imran Khan, Professor Magdi Yacoop,  Chrisanty Lemos, Gabriella Basatne, Claudia Van Platten and others covering Princess Diana
Alberto Repossi, the jeweller who owns a boutique in Monaco, (referring to Dodi Fayed's father who, reportedly, has used his deep pockets to harrass [withnesses], twist [facts and dates], and fraud [documents]) has finally gave up in the 3 hour long interview that Daphne conducted with him by saying, the following:
"No, he doesn't tell the truth about the dates..."
"No, I didn't see or speak to Diana during that summer..."
CHRONOLOGY OF THE INVESTIGATION & INQUEST
June 2007 Lord Justice Scott-Baker, the new royal coroner, has announced that the inquest into the death of Princess Diana would start on October 2nd, 2007. It will be heard in Court 73 of the RCJ. Click Here
April 2007 Baroness Butler - Sloss has decided to step down from presiding the inquest about Princess Diana's death. She said that she does not have "the degree of experience of jury cases..." She is the second coroner who is walking out of this case. Lord justice Scott Baker is replacing her. He will take up his appointment in June 2007. Click Here
September 2006 Elizabeth Butler-Sloss, 73, was recommended for the role after the coroner for royal family, Michael Burgess, stepped down from the task in July citing work pressures in his other role as coroner for Surrey, southeast England. Dame Elizabeth's appointment had not been officially confirmed yet.
July 2006 Diana inquest has been delayed after the coroner resigned.  Michael Burgess handed the material about the death of Diana and Dodi to a "senior judicial figure." The official reason for his resigning is - heavy work load.. So what does that mean to the much expected report becoming public? and when ???

The Diana Report
LORD STEVENS' REPORT
After Repossi's interview and ensuing third time questioning of Repossi by the Scotland Yard's elite team, their boss,
Lord Stevens concluded in his Diana Report (December 14th, 2006):
Scotland Yard's  question marks..... controversial key witness  Alberto Repossi - whom the report points out about the contradictions between his different accounts - and his "client and friend" (by the jeweler's description) Albert of Monaco. Repossi's shop - note respectable sources at the Scotland Yard - still has the Royal Crest in Monaco.  Why???
Alberto Repossi with Albert of Monaco
Prominent Saudi business man Hassan Yassin was the last one, reportedly, speaking to his step-nephew Dodi.  He gave an explosive interview to Daphne few days after  the accident, in front of the Ritz hotel in Paris (NBC News Dateline, and worldwide). Yassin revealed "Dodi called me. He was thinking to propose..."  Yassin has not spoken ever since but he decided to do a second interview with Daphne, to put everything on record, in light of the investigation by the Scotland Yard.
Daphne conducted a rare interview with Princess Diana's mother, Francis Shand Kydd  (on the left: Dorchester hotel, London). They stayed in touch and Francis gave Daphne the last interview, before she died. She has never recovered from neither Diana's death  nor the death of her first baby.

THE DIANA VERDICT
(April 7th, 2008)

The jury blamed "GROSSLY NEGLIGENT" DRIVER

Prince William and Prince Harry said that they "agree" with the verdicts in the inquest into the death of their mother Diana, Princess of Wales.

Dodi Fayed's father who, reportedly, has used his deep pockets to harrass (withnesses), twist (facts and dates), and fraud (documents) is finally giving up... The controversial tycoon, whom was denied a British citizenship by the UK Home Office continuously, had to face reality: there were no more avenues to pursue!

Daphne Barak:     "About the dates? "
Alberto Repossi: "No,                                                    does not tell
the truth. Dodi and Diana did not visit my

Alberto Repossi: We had the call from the hotel Ritz. Director in this time called me and say me have you some ring, a diamond ring for engagement? I say yes, of course. Have you already some? Yes, we have already some.
Daphne Barak: And he called you...
Alberto Repossi: To Monte Carlo. And he told me, we have a very important client that we would like to introduce to you and can you prepare a few of these? I say Yes, but they don't say me who was? They said it is a client so we don't inquire, because it is not our role to request...

Daphne Barak: And this is what, around the begining of August, right?
