Hillary: Next Secretary of State?
Since the first party when Hillary acknowledged she was running for President (Daphne hosted the party in New York, 2004. See photos below) - she has had bad news after bad news.
- Betrayal of friends like members of the Kennedy clan.
- Support of Hollywood community which she and her husband Bill Clinton enjoyed for longtime moved behind Barack Obama!
- Then - eventually loosing the Democratic party nomination for President over just few votes...
- At last... some flattering headlines. The New York senator who has vouched her public support to Obama and even convinced husband Bill to warm up towards Obama, was rewarded with some good publicity! One of the first meetings after president-elect Obama appointed a chief of staff, was a one-on-one meeting with Hillary Clinton. The main issue of the discussion was to check the possibility of the former First Lady becoming the future most senior lady in the Obama Administration. Whether she will get the job or not - the meeting and the flattering media brought back a smile on her face. (November 2008)
