Mugabe: "I want to retire... This is my last term. No, I won't change my mind."
In the light of the current blodie events in Zimbabwe, accompanying Mugabe's insistence to continue to rule at any price, here is a reminder of Mugabe's state of mind only three years ago...
IN HIS OWN WORDS!
Zimbabwe's Mugabe in his last sit-down interview... Mugabe told International Interviewer Daphne Barak, who cornered him about THE question (when does he quit?) that this was his last term.
When Barak challenged him that he would probably change his mind, Mugabe promised her: "No, I won't..."
THAT PROMISE WAS MADE BY MUGABE TO BARAK (AND WAS CARRIED WORLDWIDE) ON AUGUST 2005 AT HIS RESIDENCE IN HARARE ZIMBABWE.
