O.J. Simpson found guilty in an armed robbery
Daphne conducted the first interview with O.J. Simpson after he was acquited on 1996. She also conducted the first interview with O.J. and his sister Shirley Baker, after he was found guilty at the civil court.
O.J. came to visit Daphne in Miami, trying to "sell his children"s exclusive story to Daphne. She naturally declined. But she concluded from his behavior that this was the beginning of the end.
The next chapter was the disastrous book deal with Murdoch cancelled after public out cry. And then - the roberry in Vegas which landed him facing life in jail.
